Named after John Metcalf, or as he was more popularly known, Blind Jack Metcalf, born in Kanresborough in 1717, he was the first of the professional road builders to emerge during the Industrial Revolution.

Up to eight hand pulled ales and four continental beers on tap. Cheese and pate platters available. Special events.
