Very
popular little alehouse owned by Roosters Brewery, and a favourite
port of call for CAMRA members both locally and further afield.
Named after John Metcalf, or as he was more popularly known, Blind
Jack Metcalf, born in Kanresborough in 1717, he was the first of
the professional road builders to emerge during the Industrial Revolution.
Up to eight hand pulled ales and four continental beers on tap.
